Elnah Ankware

Elna Ankware

Elnah is a rising Kenyan printmaker whose hand-carved works transform upcycled Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) boards into layered, poetic narratives.

Her prints capture the quiet rhythms of everyday life, preserving memories and untold stories through a mindful, slow-made process that honors both craft and the environment.

Each piece is intentionally created, reflecting her commitment to sustainability, storytelling, and the beauty found in ordinary moments.

The Red Ladybugs

In this intricate dance of blue and yellow petals, the humble ladybug is elevated to a scarlet protagonist within a sprawling, hand-carved garden. Elnah captures the delicate heartbeat of the undergrowth, reminding us that the most profound stories are often written in the smallest of movements. This piece is a poetic invitation to pause and witness the quiet, sustainable magic that thrives when we honor the vibrant life existing right beneath our feet.
